RIMAP - Rotordynamics Integrated Machinery Analysis
RIMAP© is a Rotordynamic Analysis Software that has been developed with state-of-the-art rotordynamic analysis techniques, including the capabilities to predict:
Critical Speeds, Mode Shapes, Stability Analysis, Forced Response Analysis, Unbalance Response / Flexible Rotor Balancing

Through its easy to use GUI (Graphical User Interface), the user can easily design, analyze and troubleshoot rotating machinery such as: turbines, compressors, pumps, fans, electric motors, etc.

RITEC Integrated Machinery Analysis Package (RIMAP©) provides:

  • Complete data representation and reporting.

Program Features:

  • Rotor grows during model build-up.
  • Speed dependent characteristics.
  • Gyroscopic Effects.
  • Hydrodynamic Bearing Analysis including: Plain Journal, Two Axial Groove, Elliptic, Offset Cylinder, 3 Lobe, Pressure Dam, Partial Arc, and Tilting Pad Bearings. Also User can define bearing parameters.
  • Flexible Support.
  • Object Oriented Programming.
  • Flexible Units.

Analysis Options include:

  • Eigenvalue analysis, Stability Maps, Campbell Diagram, and Critical Speeds for synchronous excitation or excitation: 0.5X, 1X, 2X, 3X, 4X, or user defined 2D and 3D Mode Shapes with animation.
  • Undamped Critical Speed Map, the change in critical speeds with bearing stiffness.
  • Unbalance Response can be viewed either as Bode Plot or Polar Plot.
